As the saying goes, “Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Teach him to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime.” At the Foundation, we believe it is essential to teach beneficiaries to produce their own food. The fish farming project, initiated in Ábrego in 2007, has trained participants in production and fishing. It is also crucial for the Foundation’s self-sustainability, with four tanks housing approximately 15,000 fish every six months.
